China block foreign gambling websites
China have enforced their stance on illegal
online gambling by placing a block on many
and numerous gambling websites based outside
of China.
Almost 2000 sites are being "locked
down" in China so that players cannot
gamble illegally during the very popular
World Cup.
Although there will be many sites that will
bypass the net and still be available for
Chinese punters to gamble on it looks as
though there will be more and more online
gambling sites shut down over the next few
weeks and that repercussions on those who
illegally gamble could be fierce with numerous
arrests being made in China and Malaysia
already.
