Google have purchased Slide, the social gaming
company. Many will not heard of Slide but will certainly have played on them! Slide produce social games such as those for facebook apps like Superpoke. This is the second, and perhaps more aggressive takeover since Google purchased Zynga, the software company behind the very successful Farmiville. The clues are there and it is obvious that the largest search engine see social gaming as a large part of the market they wish to have a slice of.
